30 Hour Entitlement

We are delighted to be able to offer 30 hours of free term time nursery education for eligible children at New Bridge Nursery School. Parents must apply directly to HMRC for their 30 hour entitlement via their website here.

The HMRC code is valid for 3 months. HMRC will need you to reconfirm every 3 months (they will notify you normally a month BEFORE your eligibility to date runs out). You will need to log back in to your HMRC Childcare Account, and go to ‘SECURE MESSAGES’ then RECONFIRMATION’ section, should take 4 mins. Your CODE will not change, but your eligibility to date will extend a further 3 months. You will need to provide this code to the Nursery.

You may be eligible for funding for the 30 hours if you/you and your partner are: in work - or getting parental leave, sick leave or annual leave each earning at least the National Minimum Wage or Living Wage for 16 hours a week. The lunch hour is included within the 30-hour entitlement. We ask that you provide a healthy cold packed lunch for your child

Our 30 hour session times are as follows:

Monday –Thursday 9:00am-3:45pm and Friday 9.00am-12.00pm.

If you would like a 30 place for your child, but cannot access government funding, you can opt to pay to top up the universal 15 hours funding which will then give your child nursery education Monday – Thursday 9.00am-3.45pm and Friday 9.00am -12.00pm. This fee is invoiced at the beginning of each half-term and is payable whether your child attends or not.

Children are added to our waiting list once we have received a completed registration form.  A registration form can be collected from our office, or you can request one via email.

We follow the Reading Early Years Schools Admissions Policy.
