On 1st July, Caversham Nursery School had a catastrophic flood, affecting the whole nursery.
The water covered all rooms and spaces and the nursery is currently unusable. The drying of the building is now underway and we have relocated the nursery rooms to other parts of the building in temporary accommodation.
We are currently using rooms previously used by the Children's Centre, Health Visitors, Midwives, the office and staff room. As a result we have had to limit the numbers of children on site and are therefore not currently offering any new places.
We are hoping that the nursery will be fully operational and back into our building by Easter 2023, but this is under constant review.
