Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a positive impact on early childhood development? We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner (preferably with SEND experience) to be a vital part of our vibrant nursery school community based at Amersham Road in Reading.
This is a permanent, term-time only role, 37 hours per week, with key person responsibilities. Compressed hours over 4 days of the week working 7:45am – 6pm.
Salary: £26,824 - £28,142 FTE (RG3 SCP 8-11)
Required: January 2026
We are looking for a warm, caring, organised, and dynamic individual, possessing excellent knowledge of the EYFS and demonstrating self-motivation. The role involves creating a secure and engaging environment where children are at the forefront of all you do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged birth to 5 years
- Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities to foster holistic development
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members
- To support the integration of children with special educational needs and disabilities
